Carol Rodrigues
Carol Rodrigues works as a writer and director in Brazil. She served as a staff writer on seasons 1 and 2 of "Escola de Gênios"(Brainiacs, Gloob), seasons 3 and 4 of "3%" (Netflix Brazil). In her role as Creative Executive at Amazon Studios, she spearheaded projects like the second season of September Mornings and Lov3.. In 2019, she wrote and directed the short film "Their Happiness ", which premiered at the 16th VIS Vienna Shorts (Austria), was screened in Sweden, Nederlands, Croatia, Ucrania and Ecuador, and awarded by festivals in Brazil and India. Also in 2019, Rodrigues co-wrote and co-directed the short film "Moms don't cry" along Vaneza Oliveira, a film that was selected to a series of festivals in Brazil, having been awarded in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasília. In 2015, Rodrigues premiered the short film "Doll and Silence", which also took part in a series of national and international film festivals, receiving awards in Brazil, Poland, India and Portugal. Besides her work in writers' rooms and authorial short films, Rodrigues currently is dedicated to her feature debut, "Sistermaids", a fiction film shot in 2023. The project has been awarded at BrLab 2017, Cabíria Festival and participated in the Cinélatino 2018 Toulouse (France).
